`Taits’ and `Harris’ trains were an everyday sight. Also includes footage of the destruction of the `Taits’ at

late 1950s through to the early 1960s. Beautifully shot in colour by Arthur Hill, with dubbed sound

provided by Ian Scutt, you can see double headed `C’ classes on a heavy goods, an A2 on a Maryborough –

Ballarat goods, `N’ class on passenger and goods trains plus X 32 on an Albury bound empty livestock

train and more.

In this program, shot principally by Arthur Hill, we show A2995 in full stride near Bet Bet, `J’, `N’ `K’ and

A2 classes in regular service around Maryborough, Ballarat and Geelong plus steam on Warrenheip Bank

including bankers. Final runs of the A2 and `N’ classes as well as R 709.

In this program we feature final runs and impromptu commemorations of the last trains on the Kew,

Warburton and Heathcote lines. Also featured is the last run of the A2 and N class steam locomotives, the
